2. Select 'Update Demographic Data and Check Status' and log in using Aadhaar and the OTP sent to your registered phone.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha code.
4. Click 'Send OTP' and input the OTP from your registered mobile number.
5. Select 'Update Demographics Data'.
6. Choose the data to update, then click 'Proceed'.
7. Make necessary modifications and upload the required documents.
8. Review and submit your update request. Use the Update Request Number (URN) to track status.

Details That Can Be Changed Online

The UIDAI allows online updates for your address, name, gender, and date of birth. For other modifications like email ID, residential address, marital status, fingerprints, and IRIS data, visiting an Aadhaar center is necessary.

Updating Address Without Document Proof

UIDAI facilitates address updates without documentation using the 'Request for Aadhaar Validation Letter'.

Steps Involved:

1. Resident Initiates Request: Log in with Aadhaar and input verifier's details. An SRN is issued.
2. Address Verifier Consents: Click the link in verifier's SMS, log in with Aadhaar, and consent.
3. Verifier Provides Consent: Log in with SRN, preview changes, adjust language if necessary, and submit.
4. User Completes: Receive secret code by letter. Log into the update portal, use code to amend address, and submit.

Updating Aadhaar Details at Enrollment Center

Procedure:

4. Pay Rs.50.
5. Receive an acknowledgment slip with URN, which is used to monitor the update status.
