The State Bank of India (SBI) is a reputable financial institution offering diverse investment options. Among these, mutual funds and Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) are popular due to their appealing returns and adaptability. Should you wish to withdraw from an SBI mutual fund and terminate your SIP, two primary methods exist:

  • Online Cancellation:
    1. Access the SBI Mutual Fund website.
    2. Go to the "Select Request" section under non-financial transactions.
    3. Select "SIP Cancellation Request."
    4. Input your Folio Number and click Proceed.

The request is typically processed within 30 days by SBI representatives. Alternatively, your investment advisor can complete this via their interface.

  • Offline Cancellation:
    1. Contact your asset manager or the asset management company.
    2. Fill out a form sourced from transfer agents, detailing bank account info, folio number, SIP scheme, SIP amount, PAN, and the preferred end date.
    3. Submit the form to your asset manager.

Offline cancellations usually take around 21 days. Verify potential fees since some fund houses may impose charges for processing.

For further inquiries or support, reach out to SBI Mutual Fund customer service at 18002093333 or 18004255425, or email customer.delight@sbimf.com.

These simple options ensure closing your SBI Mutual Fund SIP is convenient and straightforward.
