Blocking of Credit Card
If your Axis credit card is lost or stolen, you must block it to prevent fraudulent transactions. After blocking, you can request a replacement card, which will have the same account number but different card details.
Steps to Block Axis Credit Card:
Via Axis Bank Support:
Log in to your Axis Bank account and visit the support page.
Click on 'Support Home Page'.
Select 'Get It Done Instantly'.
Choose 'Block and Replace Your Debit/Credit Card'.
Enter your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number.
Select your card and click 'Submit'.
Via Axis Aha (Chatbot):
Type 'Block Credit Card'.
Log in to your net banking account or use your MPIN.
Select the credit card to be blocked and click 'Confirm'.
Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number to block the card.
Via Axis Bank Mobile App:
Open the app and navigate to the credit card section.
Select the card to be blocked.
Click on 'Block and Replace Card'.
Via Internet Banking:
Click on 'Accounts'.
Select 'My Credit Cards'.
Choose the credit card to be blocked.
Click on 'More Services'.
Select 'Block Credit Card' and provide the reason.
Enter the code sent to you to complete the request.
Via SMS: Send an SMS with BLOCK <16-digit credit card number> to 5676782 from your registered mobile number.
