Introduction:

State Bank of India (SBI) customers who utilize the convenience of internet banking may encounter various errors while accessing their accounts. One common issue is the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" error message that can cause confusion and concern. To help resolve this inconvenience, we provide a step-by-step guide below.

Upon registering for SBI Internet Banking using the default Username and Password provided in the Internet Banking Kit, users may face limited access to services. The default user account remains hidden within the account list, making it impossible for the server to associate any accounts with the provided Username. Consequently, users are restricted from making changes to their Personal Profile.

To resolve this issue, users must unhide their account from the hidden account list and grant full authorization for transactions. This simple process takes approximately one hour to complete, offering a hassle-free experience moving forward.

Here are the steps to permanently solve the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" error:

Step 1: Visit the official SBI net banking website at https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/ and log in to your account using the provided Username and Password.

Step 2: Navigate to the "My Accounts & Profile" section and click on "Profile" from the account options.

Step 3: In the Profile list, select "Manage A/C Display."

Step 4: On the screen, choose "Unhide Accounts" and provide your Profile Password in the provided space. Click on the "Submit" button.

Step 5: Finally, select your account number and click the "Submit" button.

Upon successful completion of these steps, you will receive a confirmation message stating that your account profile has been modified, allowing inquiry and transaction access to your accounts. It is essential to note that the account number will be visible in the "Hide Accounts" tab.

Another potential cause for the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" error and its solution can be found below:

Step 1: From the menu, click on the "Request & Inquiries" tab, followed by the "Upgrade Access Level" button.

Step 2: Select the account number and click on "Full Transaction Rights" under the "Upgrade Access Level" section. Then click on the "Submit" button.

Step 3: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the provided box and click on the "Confirm" button.

Receiving a confirmation message stating that your request for account rights upgradation has been accepted, it may take up to one hour to activate the changes in our records. Once activated, you will no longer encounter this error and will gain full access to your account's transaction features.

For any further assistance or if the error persists, we recommend visiting your nearest SBI branch.
